Hey Spathy - nice blog..I am gardening challenged but really good at growing basil and my new avocado plant now at 5' that I started from a little seed and another one on the way ready to pop in the ground in a month or so.
Conchy Avocado and Basil. I will have to find a recepe. Thanks for stopping in. Not much here yet but a work in progress. Jamie really did a great job getting spathy up and running
SL I dont know what that shoutbox is but I will tell My IT GUY. Thanks so much for stopping by. Hopefully soon there will be a book behind this nice cover. I think to run a true blog you must not have a dayjob. Be a true computer wiz. Or need no sleep.
An easy, tasty salad with a Mediterranean influence. It's perfect served with pasta dishes, risottos or pizzas. 2 cups roughly torn romaine (Cos) lettuce 2 tomatoes—cut into wedges 8 thinly sliced red onion rings ½ avocado—peeled and cut into cubes 6 pitted black olives—sliced 4 large fresh basil leaves—roughly chopped 3 tablespoons Italian vinaigrette
PUT all ingredients, except the dressing, in a salad bowl. POUR the dressing over the salad and toss gently to combine just before serving.
Variation: You can turn this salad into a sandwich by spreading a split crusty bread roll with a tablespoon of Hummus, and topping with roast chicken and some of the dressed salad.
You know that 'BLOGGER' will make a book for you with all your posts in it up to 100 pages for $29.00 for a soft cover, I forget how much a hard cover is. If you have more pages just add .35 cents per page.
That shoutbox ix EASY to add. Just click on the link at the bottom of mine and it will give you a code. I changed the size in the code so it would be a bit bigger. Then paste it on one of your 'gadgets' in the sidebar.
glad to see that you got your blog up and running
